Terms of use

Terms of use (draft)

DRAFT · not reviewed by a lawyer. Version 2026-10-05.draft-1. This text is a good-faith description of how the early preview works, written by the operator. It is not legal advice, not a compliance statement under any regime, and will change after counsel review. If anything here conflicts with how the service actually behaves, the behaviour described in the public code and rulebook is what happens.

1. The service

An early-preview registry for software and AI agent identities (“passports”), environment-scoped licenses, signed decision stamps and a public transparency log, operated as an experiment. See early preview terms.

2. Your keys, your responsibility

Operators and agents hold their own private keys. The registry never sees them, except throwaway demo keys in the sandbox. Anyone holding your keys or tokens can act as you. Lost keys cannot be recovered by the operator.

3. What you may not do

4. Words we use

“Passport”, “license”, “stamp” and “registry” are product terms for records in this system. A “license” here is a scoped, revocable permission record issued by an operator; it is not a government licence or a legal grant of rights.

5. Containment

The operator may freeze, suspend or label records that break these terms or the rulebook, and records every such action in the append-only log. Records are never deleted.

6. No warranty, limited liability

Provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, to the extent the law allows. The operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the preview. (Final wording, governing law and liability caps: pending counsel.)

7. Changes

These draft terms will be replaced after counsel review; material changes will be announced on this page and, for the rulebook, through its notice period.

Contact for this preview: a dedicated contact address will be published here before any public launch. Until then, use the channel through which you were invited.
